What is PM Internship scheme?
The Government Of India recently released the Union Budget of 2025. A project named “PILOT PROJECT” under which a scheme was launched for the youth of the country offering them free employment. When was the PM Internship Program Launched?
On october,3rd 2024 The Government Of India launched a scheme named as “PM INTERNSHIP SCHEME 2025”. This program is initiated to provide internship to the youngsters for the coming next 5 years.
Motive Of The Scheme
The main agenda of this scheme is to reduce the rate of increasing unemployment in the country and to provide the best platforms, best mentors to help youngsters to enhance their skills and polish them well Under the guidance of experienced people in renowed companies.

Eligibility Criteria To Enroll In This Scheme
1- The very first and major one is the applicant must be a citizen of India. If anyone is not having Indian citizenship then this scheme is not for you.
2- If your age is between 21 years to 24 years and unemployed then you can apply for the same. Your age must lie between 21 years to 24 years i.e not below 21 nor above 24.
3- The applicant shouldn’t have joined any full day or night job as this internship is itself not a part time internship, so it will require full time.
4- Youngsters having degrees like (BSC,BCOM,PHARMA),POLYTECHNIC DIPLOMAS Can also apply . The Internship will be provided to them accordingly.
5- The applicant whose family annual income is above 8lakh are not applicable.
6- The Youngsters having degrees like MBA, CA, IIT, NIT ,IIM are not eligible.

Additional Benefit of this scheme will be that the interns/applicants will get a additional payment of 6000 upon joining along with two other yojnas i.e JEEVAN JYOTI BEEMA YOJNA and PRADHAN MANTRI SUURAKSHA BIMA YOJNA
